The Fulton Mall: How Do We Fix It?
On Monday, September 27 the consultant team presented 8 scenarios for the Fulton Mall.
The evening began with a presentation of the 30 key ingredients necessary for a vibrant downtown. This was followed by a description of the historic significance of the Mall and the original design intent. The current condition of the landscape and technical description of the Mall followed, as well as a presentation on the economic conditions needed for prosperous retail.
8 Alternatives were presented for the Fulton Mall ranging from doing nothing different to introducing a standard street and sidewalk. For descriptions of these alternatives and to comment on them please click here.
